Maintenance Electrician

About the Role

Techforce Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a permanent opportunity with our mining client based at Kanmantoo, SA. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a key role in maintaining the safe and reliable operation of a fixed processing plant. This hands-on role involves preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, shutdown activities, and electrical isolation management to ensure optimal plant performance and compliance.

• Permanent full-time position
• 7:7 rotating Day/Night roster
• 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform statutory preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond to breakdowns and complete corrective maintenance
• Install, maintain and calibrate electrical systems and instrumentation
• Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS standards and legislative requirements
• Coordinate electrical isolations and permit systems
• Participate in maintenance shutdown activities
• Provide detailed cross-shift handovers
• Support reliability and availability improvements across the plant

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Maintenance Electrician role
• Experience within fixed plant and preventative maintenance environments
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
