Looking for a role where you can take ownership of fleet maintenance and keep operations running smoothly?

Our client, are a large WA owned manufacturer and supplier to the construction and building industry.  They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join their team on a long-term basis. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or fleet maintenance background who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing contractors, and driving operational efficiency.

The Role:
Located in the north-east suburbs or Perth, this role will see you perform the following duties:

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for trucks, trailers, and fleet assets
  • Work closely with Fleet Control, drivers, suppliers, and contractors to minimise downtime
  • Conduct asset inspections and monitor maintenance performance
  • Manage maintenance records, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate cost-effective service solutions
  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and Main Roads WA requirements

About You:

  • Mechanical trade qualification or proven fleet maintenance experience
  • Experience in maintenance planning, fleet coordination, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
