About the Role

Underground LV Fitter | Federation Mine | Redpath Mining Full‑Time, Permanent | Roster 2/2 | FIFO & DIDO Options Available

Redpath is seeking experienced Underground Light Vehicle (LV) Fitters to support maintenance activities at the Federation Mine. This role is suited to tradespeople with strong underground experience who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity on a major development project.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on underground light vehicles
• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs in a timely manner
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Complete pre-start checks, service sheets, and maintenance reports
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site and statutory requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
• Identify and report hazards, defects, and improvement opportunities
• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams

About You / Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (essential)
• Experience maintaining light vehicles in an underground mining environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Valid manual driver’s licence
• Commitment to safety and compliance with site procedures
• Ability to work rotating rosters (2/2, days and nights)
