Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring Service Crew Operators to achieve daily production and development objectives
  • Coordinating underground service installations including ventilation, air, water and pumping systems
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with site standards and procedures
  • Assisting with the installation and maintenance of mine infrastructure
  • Planning and allocating daily tasks to crew members
  • Supporting ground support, rehabilitation and dewatering activities
  • Conducting pre-start meetings, workplace inspections and hazard assessments
  • Monitoring equipment condition and reporting maintenance requirements
  • Driving a positive safety culture through visible leadership and accountability
  • Assisting Supervisors with shift reporting and workforce coordination

About You / Requirements

  • Extensive underground hard rock mining experience
  • Previous experience in a Service Crew role
  • Demonstrated leadership experience as a Leading Hand or readiness to step into a leadership position
  • Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety systems
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
