Our client is a leading Water Treatment Plant. Due to growth, and expansion of the plant they are seeking an experienced Lead QA/QC, with strong heavy industry fixed plant experience, to join their team.
About the Role
As the Lead QA/QC, you will provide leadership across all quality assurance and quality control activities during construction phase. This position will see you solely responsible for all QA/QC activities.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Lead all QA/QC activities across the project.
- Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan.
- Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Test Records (ITRs) and quality documentation.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, subcontractors and third-party inspectors.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, Australian Standards and contractual requirements.
- Raise, investigate and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Lead internal quality audits and support external client audits.
- Drive corrective and preventative actions to improve project quality performance.
To be Successful:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Lead QA/QC role on major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on water treatment, utilities, industrial, mining or heavy engineering projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality outcomes on brownfields projects.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
- Experience preparing and managing ITPs, MDRs, NCRs and project quality documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Australian Standards.
- Excellent knowledge of construction inspection and testing requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Further Details:
Location: Kwinana
Contract: 18-month fixed term
Salary: $180K per annum + Super (negational based on experience)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday : 40 hours per week
