The Role
As the Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across the design and delivery of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for major industrial and infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers, clients and multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure high-quality engineering outcomes from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical delivery of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation.
- Liaise with clients and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications.
- Support design reviews, project planning and commissioning activities.
About You
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (essential).
- Extensive experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems and control philosophies.
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is essential; hands-on programming experience is not required.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex projects.
- Experience within water, mining, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded.
