Labourers and Operators

About the Role

This position will see you labouring or operating an excavator (Bulk earthworks, trenching, landfill construction, loading trucks), watercart or Morooka for the handling of waste and/or onsite civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Labourers: General civil and landfill construction duties, erosion and sediment control maintenance, installation assistance and supporting plant operators.
• Watercart Operator: Dust suppression during civil construction, haul road maintenance and general site support.
• Excavator Operator: Bulk earthworks such as trenching and drainage works, landfill construction activities and loading Morookas.
• Morooka Operators: Operation of tracked dump truck - transporting clay, aggregate and construction materials around the landfill and civil sites. (Experience operating excavators or Moxy’s is advantageous)
• Ability to conduct pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements

• Operators much have current tickets for at least 1 of the following: Excavator / Moxy or Tracked Dumper Operations / Watercart or HR License
• White Card
• Previous civil or landfill operating and/or labouring experience
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights
