About the Role

Role OverviewExperienced Underground Jumbo Operators are required to support development activities at Scotia Mine. This role is suited to operators with proven underground development experience who are committed to safety, quality workmanship, and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently
• Complete development drilling in accordance with mine plans and drill designs
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Maintain accurate drilling profiles and development standards
• Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues
• Work closely with Charge Up, Service Crew, and supervisory teams
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and statutory requirements
• Complete production and safety documentation
• Maintain housekeeping standards in underground work areas

About You / Requirements

• Proven experience operating underground development jumbos
• Ability to read and interpret mine plans and mark-ups
• Strong understanding of underground development processes
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Valid manual driver's licence
• Experience on Sandvik jumbo equipment highly regarded
