RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters to join our team on a Permanent Fulltime basis, located in our Bunbury Workshop.

We have a exciting opportunities for Hydraulic Fitters & Technicians at RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRW Holdings.

About the role

• Ensure all Safety, Quality & Environmental processes are followed and meet, report any incidents or hazards via client portal or RCR Mining Technologies 360 tool.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop or industrial setting.
• Complete detailed reporting of required repairs
• Conduct root cause failure report of damaged components to capture additional system failure points
• Perform job scoping when on site and communicate back to responsible Technical Hydraulic Specialist.
• Complete hydraulic services including performance testing of systems, and identify potential repair and spare parts needs
• Adjustment of proportional hydraulic systems and associated driver cards
• Understanding of PLC control solutions and tuning of PID control loops
• Support internal projects with tubing, lubrication and hydraulic system needs
• Ability to generate detailed work instructions for other hydraulic work groups
• Ability to interpret and markup hydraulic schematics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Willingness to travel to remote worksites when required
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

• Live locally or willing to relocate to the Southwest
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Relevant experience in the Hydraulics industry
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
• A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature.
