The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a HR Undergraduate to join the HumeLink West JV project team. Please note this is a local role, based in Wagga Wagga for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West delivery team.
Key Accountabilities
- Support and implement People & Culture initiatives to support project delivery priorities and company objectives.
- Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assisting facilitation of training for employees.
- In collaboration with the Recruitment Manager, coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process utilising various sourcing channels.
- Work closely with P&C admin to manage employee changes including promotions, remuneration and position title changes.
- Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange within the team and stakeholders.
About You
- Currently in third, or final year of undergraduate studies, with a focus on Human Resources Management.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft office programs (including excel, word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Well-developed organisation skills.
- Keen to learn and quick on uptake of tasks.
- Desired availability would be 3 full days a week.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
