About the Role

As an HR Officer, you'll provide support to the HR Superintendent across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HR documentation, including investigation outcomes, warnings, performance improvement plans and termination correspondence.
• Support fitness for work, return-to-work and absenteeism matters.
• Build relationships with leaders and employees across the site.
• Work with Payroll, Travel and Site Administration to resolve employee-related matters.
• Support HR projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Escalate complex employee relations matters where required.

About You

• Previous experience as an HR Officer.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A practical and confident approach to working with leaders at all levels.
• Experience in mining, construction, civil, manufacturing or another industrial environment will be highly regarded.
