HR Business Partner

This publicly listed resources organisation is experiencing rapid growth, creating an expansion within its human resources team to further develop a high-performance workforce.

About the Role

FIFO opportunity ex-Perth on an 8:6 roster. Reporting to the Human Resources Lead, you will have autonomy to support a portfolio of sites in a generalist capacity, influencing best practice and continuous improvement.

Working collaboratively with the site management team, you will provide operational generalist HR support and take accountability for implementing key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor line management.
• Provide generalist HR advice.
• Manage grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Support performance management and performance reviews.
• Manage industrial relations.
• Support workforce planning.
• Implement initiatives relating to organisational culture, talent management, engagement and retention, reward and recognition, and other key HR areas.

About You / Requirements

• Take a consultative approach.
• Build trust and mutual respect to foster successful working relationships.
• Be a qualified HR Business Partner.
• Bring recent experience of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
• Have full working rights to work in Australia.
• A progressive approach to human resources and the ability to partner with stakeholder groups to provide pragmatic, tailored solutions.
• Prior exposure to site-based human resources, or a background in mining or construction, is ideal.
