High Voltage Construction Superintendent

About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a High Voltage Construction Superintendent to join our team at Glencore Projects working a full-time Monday to Friday roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Area Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of the Powerlines & Civil Works package, from design through to construction, commissioning, and final handover.

This role will have a strong focus on safely delivering project outcomes on time and within budget, while building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of the project, from design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensuring project activities are delivered safely on time and within budget.
• Managing and influencing change initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing regular reporting on project progress against agreed plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Driving appropriate project governance, including the identification, management and resolution of project risks and issues.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability and the ability to work through complex project challenges.
• Previous relevant industry experience.
• A focused and results-oriented approach.
• The ability to think laterally and identify practical solutions.
• A degree in Engineering, relevant trade qualification, and/or a recognised qualification in Project Management.
• High Voltage / Powerline construction experience highly desirable
