Heavy Mobile Equipment Boilermaker / Welder (HME BMW) - Cape Preston (Sino Iron

About the Role

We are currently seeking 3 experienced Heavy Mobile Equipment Boilermaker/Welders to join a major mining project at Cape Preston on a 2/1 FIFO roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication, welding, and repair work on heavy mining mobile equipment
• Perform bucket repairs, chassis repairs, and general structural fabrication
• Conduct maintenance and modifications on large mining plant and components
• Read and interpret drawings and carry out high-quality weld repairs to site standards
• Work safely in a heavy industrial mining environment and follow all site procedures
• Support breakdowns and scheduled maintenance to maximise equipment availability

Equipment on Site

• Liebherr 9800 excavators
• Hitachi EH400AC-3 haul trucks
• MT4400 Bucyrus haul trucks

Project Details

• Cape Preston - Sino Iron Project (Pilbara, WA)
• 2:1 FIFO roster
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
• Additional $3 per hour site allowance on top of base rate
• Sino Iron is Australia's largest magnetite mining and processing operation, located 100km southwest of Karratha

About You / Requirements

• Trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder
• Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
• Strong fabrication and structural repair skills
• Ability to pass site medical and D&A testing
• Willingness to be clean shaven for mask fit (required only when working in the pit)
