About the Project

The Finniss Project is located about 90km by road from Darwin CBD, or 25km south as the crow flies. NRW will be completing the Open Cut Mining of Grant’s Pit. This scope of works includes:

• establishment of site facilities, systems and infrastructure (haul road construction & other general construction works)
• drill and blast
• load and haulage of ore and waste
• ancillary services

About the Role

As a Boilermaker with NRW, you will be responsible for bucket repairs, tray work and GET/ wear packages, ARC air gouging and welding flux core on a variety of CAT and Hitachi equipment.

What we are looking for

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
• Tickets and licences (e.g., Forklift, Working at heights, etc)
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
• Experience with CAT 777 trucks, 190T excavators, CAT D10 Dozers and more
• Demonstrated behaviours which align with NRW’s values and safety standards
• A “can do” attitude and strong team commitment
• Australian work rights
