Heavy Duty Mechanic

The Role

Due to our continued growth, KCA Site Services is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic. Based at our Midvale workshop, you will take pride in your workmanship and deliver reliable results safely and in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults to restore equipment performance and reliability.
• Complete servicing, major repairs, overhauls and rebuilds on Volvo ITs, Toyota LVs and diesel ancillary equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Use tools, systems and technical documentation to carry out work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused workshop.

What's on offer

• Monday to Friday, 8 hours, with potential for overtime (weekdays only).
• Up to $85p/h + super working as an FTE.
• Occasional site visits to carry out repairs.

What we're looking for

• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Australian recognised).
• Experience with Volvo equipment (preferred).
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Valid Australian driver's licence (manual).
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months) or ability to obtain.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available).
