About the role:

As a Leading Hand with NRW, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring the team, ensuring they deliver their best performance every day. Communication is key, as you'll have daily interactions with the Supervisors, internal staff and contractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective workflow.

What we are looking for:

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
• Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Rigging, Crane, etc
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
• Experience with CAT 6060, CAT 793F Haul Trucks, Hitachi EX5600 Excavators, Komatsu WA900-8 Loaders,
• Demonstrated behaviours which align with NRW’s values and safety standards
• A “can do” attitude and strong team commitment
• Australian work rights

About the Site:

Karara is the largest mining operation and the first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West. It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers. With an expected life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community where we operate.
