About the Role

Are you a qualified Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic looking for stable, long-term work close to home?

We’re seeking an HD Mechanic to join a modern, well-equipped workshop in Perth on a full time basis working on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on diesel motors and the mechanical components of trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles, including transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
• Test, overhaul, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other heavy vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to maintain vehicle reliability and minimise downtime
• Operate safely and efficiently within a well-equipped workshop environment while adhering to workplace safety procedures
• Maintain accurate service and repair records and work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support workshop operations

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent, International Trade Cert Accepted)
• Proven hands-on experience with various manufacturers
• Confident in diagnostics and fault finding using computer-based systems
• Strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
