Health & Injury Coordinator - Mining | FIFO or Perth-Based Options

We are currently partnering with a leading mining operation to recruit an experienced Health & Injury Coordinator. This is an initial contract opportunity with strong potential for extension, offering flexibility across site-based or Perth-based work arrangements.

The Opportunity This position offers flexibility to work either on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth (site-based) or a 5/2 Perth-based arrangement, depending on operational requirements.

You will play a key role within the Health & Injury team, delivering end-to-end injury management and supporting workforce health outcomes across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver injury management services for workplace injuries
• Ensure timely notification and escalation of injuries to relevant stakeholders
• Manage and process workers compensation claims in line with legislative requirements
• Coordinate and monitor Return to Work (RTW) plans
• Manage Fitness for Work processes for non-work-related injuries and illnesses
• Liaise with employees, leaders, and external providers to support rehabilitation outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and compliance documentation
• Support delivery of health, wellbeing and injury prevention initiatives

About You

• Proven experience in Injury Management, RTW or Health Coordination roles within mining, construction or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of workers compensation and RTW processes (WA experience highly regarded)
• Demonstrated organisational and case management capability
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Current driver's licence
