HD Fitter - Rebuilds

About the Role:

Techforce has a new opportunity for Perth HD Fitters | Rebuild Fitters to join a hardworking team of professionals based in a modern HME rebuilds workshop with a high performing and energetic team of professionals. This role is a Field Service position, with both workshop and breakdown work expected (across Perth Region, Western Australia). Can you pull apart minor and major components from CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment and basically put it all back together with one eye closed? You're the one we need!

What you'll be Doing:

• Carrying out major and minor component rebuilds and overhauls on earthmoving and mining equipment components including engines, transmissions, final drives, torque converters, differentials and hydraulic pumps.
• Stripping, inspecting, measuring and rebuilding components in line with OEM specifications.
• Completing failure analysis and fault finding on returned components to determine repair scope and required parts.
• Reassembling and testing rebuilt components to ensure reliability and performance before dispatch.
• Working within a modern Perth-based rebuild workshop as well as attending breakdowns throughout the region supporting heavy mining earthmoving fleets.
• Maintaining accurate rebuild documentation, measurements and reports to support quality control and traceability.
• Collaborating with the workshop team to deliver high-quality rebuilds with strong turnaround times

What you Need:

• Minimum 3 years' post trade experience working with surface heavy mobile plant equipment
• Strong component rebuild and stripping experience essential
• An awesome can do attitude and clear line of communication required at all times
• Cert III Engineering - Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate (or similar)
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Full Unlimited Australian Working Rights
• Able to pass a Lab Drug + Alcohol Screen & a Pre-Employment Medical
• National Police Clearance within 6 months or willingness to apply ASAP
