HD Fitter

About the role: Working with Rio Tinto, across multiple sites You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance across site. This role suits a proactive tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to preventative maintenance. This is an 8/6 7/7 The roles are for the Workshop team at West Angelas Mobile Equipment. We look after Komatsu 930e and 830e haul trucks and Komatsu/Letourneau loaders. So, experience in these is desirable. Key Accountabilities:

  • Performs maintenance tasks.
  • Identifies defects and provide feedback on asset performance and health via the Rio Tinto Business Solution (RTBS), raising notifications and competing work orders.
  • Supports the defect elimination process and contributes to the work management analysis and asset tactics reviews.
  • Ensures work management activities are undertaken in line with work order/job instructions.
  • Undertakes post maintenance equipment commissioning and clean-up.
