Job Description
HD Fitter for mining equipment
The Opportunity
- New gear and new machines requiring maintenance
- Top-of-the-line equipment
- Various rosters and multiple positions: 2:2 and 2:1
- Repair and maintenance on Hitachi, Liebherr, Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile plant
- Using your skills and knowledge to complete maintenance tasks on haulage and road trains is also beneficial
- Workshop and field service options available
- Underground positions also available
The Ideal Candidate
- Workshop and field service roles available
- Call-outs
- Mining gear experience
- Excellent fault-finding skills, with the ability to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Preventative maintenance on all machines
- Experience with Komatsu, Cat, Hitachi and Liebherr
- Component change-outs
- Attend to breakdowns in pit
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding on machines
- Daily machine inspections and compiling parts lists
