The Opportunity

Your role as a Graduate Data Science will see you play a vital part in the Mining Services Teams offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects throughout the business.

You will gain exposure within Analytics and Dashboard functions exploring continuous improvement of Asset Life, Mine Planning and other MinRes Pillars. These key insights will improve development in budget forecasting models, basic finance and business knowledge, management reporting application, lifecycle costing and support for various business units using a range of different software’s and techniques.

• Tailored Two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects.

• Exposure to different commodities and Services including Iron Ore, Lithium, Energy, Mining Services & Construction.

• Rotations within our state of the art head office and site based experiences on our Mineral Resources operated sites.

• Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders, you’ll be well-positioned to grow a successful career in mining.

Requirements for the Role

• Graduated with a bachelor of Actuarial Science, Degree in Data Sciences, Degree in Finance / Accounting by the end of 2026 or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 12 months.

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application.

• Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2027.

• Must be based in WA or willing to relocate.
