We’re inviting students from the Hydrology and Hydrogeology discipline to join us in roles across our Iron Ore business in Western Australia.
Applicants must have for Hydrology:

Degree qualifications in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Environment Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Exposure in water-based units and a keen interest in surface or underground water desirable.
Applicants must have for Hydrogeology:
- Degree qualifications in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geology/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
- Working towards a Masters degree in Hydrogeology or a Masters in a water-related engineering discipline with groundwater experience, ideal but not essential.

Our Intern Program offers you the chance to help shape Rio Tinto from within. The 12-week Summer Internship Program provides hands-on experience, with the potential to secure a graduate position upon completion.

In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own a world-class, integrated network of 18 mines, 4 independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 kilometers and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. Have the right to work in Australia or New Zealand (citizens, permanent residents, student or postgraduate work visa holders)

Must be available for FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) and Perth-based opportunities
