About the Role

Geology Manager – Cue Gold Operation (4:3 Roster)

Westgold Resources is seeking an experienced Geology Manager to join our Cue Gold Operation and lead site‑based geological activities across mine geology, grade control and resource development.

This is a key leadership role within the operation, offering the opportunity to influence production performance, resource growth and life‑of‑mine outcomes at an established WA gold operation.

Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining geological standards across the operation. You will provide technical leadership to the site geology team, support ore control and reconciliation, contribute to life‑of‑mine planning, and work closely with Operations to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.

Safety leadership, data integrity and compliance with regulatory and company standards will be central to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site geological activities, including grade control and reconciliation
• Grow and define the site Mineral Resource base
• Provide technical input into life‑of‑mine planning and production strategies
• Partner with Operations to optimise ore recovery and minimise dilution
• Maintain geological data quality, modelling and reporting standards
• Develop, mentor and manage site geology personnel
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory requirements

About You / Requirements

You are a technically strong and proactive geology leader with experience in gold operations and a passion for driving performance through data, collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience in mine geology within gold operations
• Proven leadership experience managing site geology teams
• Strong understanding of grade control, reconciliation and resource estimation
• Experience with industry software such as Surpac and Leapfrog
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across disciplines
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance and team development

Qualifications & requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or related discipline
• Membership with AIG or AusIMM (or eligibility)
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Schedule 26 compliant.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and police clearance
