Front-end Loader Operator

About the Role

Protech are seeking an experienced Loader Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast. This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening

• Immediate starts available
• Full time hours casual Mon to Fri, with ability to work 5.5 days per week
• Minimal wet weather interruptions
• Ordinary hours $42.26 + Overtime rates

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Front-End Loader fitted with onboard scale systems
• Load and stockpile quarry materials in line with site requirements
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Tickets & Experience Required

• Valid Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport – mandatory
• Previous quarry, civil, or mining experience – mandatory
• Mobile plant tickets (Loader, Dump Truck) – advantageous
