Franna Operator & Experienced Labourers

About the Company

Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a major civil construction company in Ingham, North Queensland. Due to increased project requirements, we are currently seeking an experienced Franna Crane Operator and 2 Experienced Civil Labourers to join the project team. The project is expected to start on the 31st of August and will run for 2-3 months with other projects on the horizon.

About the Role

Franna Crane Operator

You will be operating a Franna crane on a civil infrastructure project, assisting with lifting and material handling requirements across site.

• $45.80/hr + Penalties (after 7.6hrs) + Super
• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm + Saturday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Assisting with lifting and positioning materials around site.
• Following lifting plans and site procedures.
• Working closely with operators, trades and site supervisors.
• Assisting with general civil labouring duties when required.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and site compliance.

Franna Crane Operator – Requirements

• Current CN/CO Franna Crane Operating Ticket.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labouring tasks when required.
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic.

Experienced Civil Labourers

Working as part of the civil construction crew, you will assist with the delivery of major infrastructure works, with preference given to candidates who have previous experience on transport, road construction or main roads projects.

• $40.53/hr + Penalties (after 7.6hrs) + Super
• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm + Saturday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Your responsibilities may include:

• General civil labouring duties.
• Assisting plant operators and other site personnel.
• Manual handling, excavation and site preparation.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Assisting with road and civil construction activities.
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
• Following all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Experienced Civil Labourers – Requirements

• Previous civil construction labouring experience.
• Main roads, transport infrastructure or road construction experience highly regarded.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Additional tickets such as Dogging, Rigging or Civil Machinery are advantageous but not essential.
