Hays Resources & Mining has partnered with a leading gold mining client who is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician to join their site-based maintenance team. This is a long-term temp to permanent opportunity, offering family friendly roster options and exposure to a well-established operation.
About the Role
Fixed Plant Electrician – Gold Mine Site FIFO / DIDO | Long-Term Opportunity | Temp to Perm
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of electrical equipment across the fixed plant, ensuring plant availability and compliance with site safety standards on an 8:6/7:7 roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair fixed plant electrical systems
- Fault find on motors, PLCs, MCCs and plant infrastructure
- Work safely in accordance with site procedures and Australian Standards
- Support breakdown and planned maintenance activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on-site
About You / Requirements
- Electrical Trade Certificate with current Western Australian licence
- Proven experience as a Fixed Plant Electrician in a mining or heavy industry environment
- High Voltage experience – highly desirable
- Instrumentation certifications – highly advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to safety and teamwork
