Fixed Plant Electrician – Gold Mine Site
FIFO / DIDO | Long-Term Opportunity | Temp to Perm

Hays Resources & Mining has partnered with a leading gold mining client who is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician to join their site-based maintenance team. This is a long-term temp to permanent opportunity, offering family friendly roster options and exposure to a well-established operation.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of electrical equipment across the fixed plant, ensuring plant availability and compliance with site safety standards on an 8:6/7:7 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair fixed plant electrical systems
  • Fault find on motors, PLCs, MCCs and plant infrastructure
  • Work safely in accordance with site procedures and Australian Standards
  • Support breakdown and planned maintenance activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on-site

About You:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate with current Western Australian licence
  • Proven experience as a Fixed Plant Electrician in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • High Voltage experience – highly desirable
  • Instrumentation certifications – highly advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to safety and teamwork
