About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on and reliable Field Service Mechanic to join our local Coates Team, based right here in Moranbah. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our wide range of equipment – from earthmoving and access equipment to generators, pumps and more. No two days are the same.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose, service and repair equipment in the field and workshop
• Support customers with breakdowns and ensure equipment is safe and ready to go
• Work independently while being backed by a supportive team
• Uphold Coates high standards for safety, service and reliability.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Relevant Trade qualifications
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills
• Current drivers licence, Forklift and EWP tickets (beneficial)
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
• A strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Must be able to pass a coal board medical (paid for by the company)
• Able to pass regular drug and alcohol checks due to mine site requirements
