Our client is a leading provider of remote site services within the Western Australian resources sector. Due to increased operational demands, they are seeking an experienced Gardener / Groundsperson / Handyperson to join their team on an immediate start basis. This is a FIFO opportunity working a family-friendly 7:7 roster at a well-established mining accommodation village.

About the Role

Your new role Reporting to the Village Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining site grounds and outdoor areas to a high standard while assisting with general site maintenance duties as required.

Duties

What you'll need to succeed

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and edging
• Irrigation maintenance and garden upkeep
• Pruning, weeding and landscaping activities
• General grounds and facility maintenance
• Operating site equipment, including forklifts
• Assisting with basic handyperson tasks across the village
• Maintaining safe and tidy work areas
• Supporting the wider maintenance team as required

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Previous gardening, grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
• Current High Risk Forklift (LF) Licence (essential)
• Working at Heights ticket (highly regarded)
• FIFO or remote site experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to assist across multiple site functions
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
• Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol screening
• Full Australian working rights
