• Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from Kalgoorlie

• 2/1 roster
• Various shift times working either 10,11 or 11.5 hours
• Remuneration range - $79,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation
• Location: Randalls Village (Emu Flat - Kalgoorlie)

Cater Care Services are seeking motivated Cooks to join our remote villages across Western Australia. You will work 14 days on and have 7 days off (with meals, uniforms and accommodation included), giving you a real opportunity to save and improve your work/life balance. If you have a strong knowledge of food safety and enjoy working in a team environment, we want to hear from you.

What does a day in the life of a FIFO Cook look like?

• Food preparation and presentation (breakfast, crib, dinner and functions)
• Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests)
• Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
• Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils
• Adherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practices
• Fast, effective service provided with a smile
• Assisting the broader team as required

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements for the role:

• Industry experience – minimum 2 years
• Food Safety Certification (desirable)
• Trade qualifications (desirable)
• Commitment to Cater Care’s Quality and Safety Management system
• Ability willingness to work well alone, and as part of a team
• A commitment to genuine, friendly & professional customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Resourcefulness, resilience and creative thinking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging & time-sensitive environment
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
