We’re on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiastic Field Technician to support an exciting exploration project in the Pilbara. If you enjoy hands‑on work, remote travel, and being part of a tight‑knit field crew, this role is for you.

You’ll be working alongside experienced geologists and supporting exploration activities for Rio Tinto, contributing to a significant Australian resource project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist geologists and field teams with sample collection and general site support
• Accurately label, log, and transport geological samples
• Maintain field camp cleanliness and help manage daily logistics
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements
• Record basic field data and support mapping activities
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures

What You’ll Bring

• Forklift ticket – required
• Telehandler – Required
• Previous fieldwork or exploration experience – required
• Strong physical fitness and comfort working outdoors for extended periods
• High attention to detail and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
• Valid driver’s HR licence and willingness to travel
