Field Technician

About the Role

If you're a Field Technician with experience processing core, this FIFO opportunity offers the chance to join a busy geology team and support ongoing drilling activities at a well-established gold operation.

Working in the core shed alongside experienced geologists, you'll be responsible for the accurate processing and handling of core, ensuring geological data is captured efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a 3-month contract covering a period of leave, with an immediate start available for the right person.

The role operates on either an 8:6 or 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, with comfortable ensuite accommodation, gym facilities and a well-equipped camp provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and handling core
• Core metre marking and tray management
• Assisting geologists with day-to-day activities
• Data entry and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting drilling and geology activities as required
• Following site safety procedures and standards.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Field Technician, Core Yard Technician or Field Assistant
• Demonstrated experience processing core
• Previous experience within a gold mining environment
• Current C class manual driver's licence
• Current Forklift Licence (preferred)
• Availability to commence work at short notice.
