Factory Hand / Assembly Labourer

Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Perth’s southern suburbs, specialises in aluminium window and door systems along with a range of custom glass products. They are currently seeking Assembly Labourers / Factory Hands for ongoing work, with strong potential for permanency within a specialised production team. Both day and afternoon shift rosters are available.

Day shift: Mon to Thurs 6:00am - 2:30pm & Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Afternoon shift: Mon to Thu 2:25pm - 11:00pm & Friday 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $35.56hr + super (days), $41.92 + super (afternoon)

About the Role
We are looking for people eager to learn and grow in a glass fabrication environment. An established business within a secure industry, you will have the opportunity to start in a Assembly Labourer / Factory Hand position and grow where your capabilities and interests lie.

Duties will include:

• Assembling bespoke windows, doors, and flyscreens.
• Safe manual handling and loading/unloading of glass products within processing areas.
• Daily housekeeping of machinery and surrounding work areas.
• Checking, measuring, inspecting, and confirming correct glass types as per specifications.
• Ensuring quality checks are completed on all products and reporting issues (e.g., marks and scratches).
• Assisting other team members with glass processing duties as required.

Requirements:

• Experience with hand and power tools or previous factory experience.
• Good communication skills and adherence to safety protocol on site.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport.
• Full working rights.
