About the Opportunity
As a Refrigeration & Facilities Supervisor, your primary focus will be hands‑on trade work, ensuring refrigeration and HVAC systems remain compliant, operational, and responsive to breakdowns.
Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Performing repair, maintenance, and fault‑finding on air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Responding to reactive breakdowns and supporting planned maintenance activities
- Conducting inspections across accommodation rooms, kitchens, laundries, and plant areas
- Supporting the upkeep of village facilities, including general repairs and non‑technical maintenance
- Coordinating day‑to‑day tasks and providing guidance to facilities or maintenance staff as required
- Ensuring work is completed safely, compliantly, and with minimal impact to room availability
- Assisting with waste management, grounds, and general village presentation where needed
This role is ideal for a refrigeration tradesperson who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working in a close‑knit remote team environment.

- $7k annual incentive bonus for local DIDO candidates (paid quarterly; flights not included)
- FIFO provided for Perth‑based candidates (not eligible for local incentive bonus)

About You
You’re a trade‑qualified Refrigeration Mechanic who enjoys being on the tools and taking ownership of equipment performance in a live operational environment.
You’ll bring:
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Restricted electrical licence (or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial, industrial, or remote environments
- Ability to work autonomously and respond to reactive maintenance requests
- Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS requirements
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship not available)
- Flexibility to work day or night shift when required
Desirable:
- Supervisory or step‑up leadership experience
- LF forklift licence
- Experience working in remote or resource‑sector environments
