As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of Interest from Construction Supervisors interested in expanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels, refining and terminal infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets.

You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capital projects and operational support activities. You'll work alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction activities across fuel terminals, bulk storage facilities, tank farms, pipelines and associated infrastructure projects, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage site personnel, subcontractors, equipment and materials to achieve construction milestones, schedules and project objectives.
  • Ensure all construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor site progress, productivity and workforce performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Drive a strong safety culture through effective planning, risk management, toolbox talks, permit compliance and adherence to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, operations personnel and contractors to support brownfield upgrades, shutdowns, capital projects and commissioning activities.

About you

  • Trade qualified in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience supervising construction activities within industrial, energy or infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience in fuel terminals, bulk storage facilities, oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities, ports or other high-risk industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contractor management, work sequencing and site coordination across brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership, with sound knowledge of permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, isolation processes and compliance requirements in operational environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction specifications, project schedules and quality documentation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts, manage contractors and deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
