Job Tasks and Responsibilities

In this exciting period of growth, several opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an experienced Mineworker. Working with a dynamic team, you will be responsible to operate a variety of underground mining equipment safely and efficiently.

Based on site at Moolarben Coal Operations and reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), you will be required to:

• Bring innovative, unique ideas aimed at continuous improvement.
• Make a conscious effort to act in the best interests of the business.

Skills and Experience

Our Essential Criteria

• Longwall and Development equipment operating skills
• UG diesel equipment operating skills
• A professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Current Driver’s License

Our Desirable Criteria

• Mines Rescue trained
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Tertiary Mining Education
