About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to support the Vice President - Asset Management as a trusted Executive Assistant, providing proactive and professional support that enables leadership effectiveness across Alcoa’s global portfolio.

As the Executive Assistant, you will partner closely with a senior global leader, their direct reports, and broader team members to manage complex priorities across multiple regions and time zones. You will play a key role in coordinating executive activities, fostering collaboration and strengthening stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful delivery of strategic business objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage complex calendars, priorities, communications, documentation and logistics to enable focus on key business outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate global leadership activities including domestic and international travel, visa applications, accommodation, expense reconciliation, executive visits, leadership meetings, and cross-regional communications.
  • Lead the preparation of executive reports and presentations, compiling monthly and quarterly business reports, statistical data, briefing materials and presentations to meet business and leadership requirements.
  • Support team effectiveness by organising workshops, forums and events, supporting onboarding activities, maintaining budgets, tracking leadership actions, and continuously improving administrative processes.
  • Build strong relationships across a global network, partnering with leaders, teams, customers and external stakeholders, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver positive, outcomes-focused results.

What you can bring to the role

  • Extensive experience providing executive-level support within a complex corporate, industrial, or global business environment, with relevant qualifications in business administration or a related discipline highly regarded.
  • Professional communication and business acumen with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality correspondence, reports and presentations, and a sound understanding of corporate governance, executive leadership and board-level requirements.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with knowledge of modern Executive Assistant practices, technologies and tools that drive productivity and executive effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, remain calm under pressure, and build trusted relationships through empathy, professionalism, self-awareness and sound judgement.
  • Flexible and adaptable work style, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones, cultures, and stakeholder groups while building strong, trusted relationships in a global and inclusive environment.
