About the Role

Based at Mungari Operations and reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you'll play an important role in supporting our Development and Production teams while learning the skills required for a successful career in underground mining. As an Entry Level Nipper, your day-to-day will include:

• Supporting underground development and production crews with materials handling and mine services activities
• Transporting personnel, tools, equipment and consumables throughout the underground operation
• Assisting with vent bag installation, service extensions and general underground support tasks
• Performing manual labour and physically demanding work in a safe and productive manner
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the underground environment
• Conducting pre-start inspections and ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Identifying and reporting potential hazards
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets
• Learning underground mining processes and developing your skills through on-the-job training
