Engineering Manager

About the Company

Our client is a highly successful business, with technical success in assisting in the development of projects and project assessments across the globe. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to replace a promotion within their business.

About the Role

The position will oversee the company's engineering function by leading the mechanical, process, civil/structural and electrical day-to-day delivery across the study and execution phases.

• Perth based – Monday to Friday
• Excellent remuneration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on design, review and technical support.
• Lead the scoping, PFS and DFS phases of engineering.
• Provide technical support to laboratory batch and pilot plant equipment.
• Manage and develop a small multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate engineering resources across all projects.
• Support capital cost estimation, procurement and vendor engagement.

About You / Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering scoping, PFS and DFS study phases in a lean team.
• Practical experience with pilot plant and small-scale process plant engineering.
• Working knowledge of electrical/instrumentation, automation and digital system interfaces.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused leadership style.
