About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor – Utilities Services, you will be responsible for conducting construction and maintenance activities associated with company owned housing and site buildings. This is a residential role based in Mount Isa. Working as an integral part of the Building Services team and the wider department, you will safely and effectively perform statutory testing, planned and breakdown maintenance tasks to electrical industry standards and site regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing and commission of DB boards
  • Maintaining of management housing
  • Maintaining laundry facility
  • Project works – renovating offices /Houses /facilities across site

About You / Requirements

  • Trade Qualification – Electrician
  • A current Queensland Electrical license or the ability to obtain one
  • 4th year apprentice close to coming out of their time encouraged applied
  • Valid manual driver’s license
  • A team player that can add value to the team covering a wide range of skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication skills
  • Solid ability to plan and organise tasks and resources to meet deadlines
  • A strong safety focus - promoting site safety standards
