We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our Christmas Creek operations team, supporting the reliability and performance of our Ore Processing Facilities (OPF). This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment in a fast-paced mining environment while contributing to the future of green industry and sustainable operations.
Location and roster details:
- Location: Christmas Creek – located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people
- Roster: 7 Days / 7 Ninghts / 14 Off- FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing, Broome, Port Hedland or Karratha
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance on OPF assets
- Performing daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Identifying and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Raising notifications and work orders within maintenance systems
- Completing modular and shutdown maintenance activities
- Carrying out statutory testing and inspections in line with site requirements
- Ensuring compliance with AS3000, Work Health Regulations, and relevant Act
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current WA ‘A’ Class Electrical Workers Licence
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within a mining environment
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, isolation procedures, and permitting systems
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
