About the Role
As an Electrician based at Coates Belmont, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing the electrical components of hire equipment, ensuring all assets are ready, fit and safe for customer use. You will work closely with the mechanical team and also support toolstore operations during shutdowns, ensuring equipment is prepared, tracked and issued efficiently.
- Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime
- Permanent full-time position
- Monday to Friday roster, 7am start
- Ad hoc shutdown work and toolstore support (working away as required)
Your typical day will focus on:
- Servicing and maintaining a wide range of electrical plant and equipment at the branch and on site
- Carrying out electrical testing and calibration of equipment as required
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs in line with accepted trade practices
- Preparing, issuing and receiving equipment during shutdown and project work
- Supporting toolstore operations including stock control and equipment tracking
- Keeping customers informed of equipment service and repair requirements
- Assisting with maintaining appropriate stock levels of electrical spare parts
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with procedures

About You / Requirements
- Trade qualified Electrician with current licence
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventative maintenance on power generation, access, materials handling and construction plant & equipment
- Willingness to work away during shutdown periods and support toolstore operations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused approach
- Forklift and EWP ticket (desirable)
- Current driver’s licence
Qualifications & Certifications
- Trade qualified Electrician with current licence

Additional Details
Coates Belmont location, Belmont, WA; Permanent full-time; Monday to Friday; 7am start; Ad hoc shutdown work and occasional site work when required.
