Electrical Technical Coordinator

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People.

Join our Iron Bridge Process Plant Team as an Electrical Technical Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of our fixed plant electrical systems. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who thrives on problem-solving, leading technical improvements, and driving training initiatives to keep our operations running at their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Provide technical support to supervisors and 2ICs.
• Work with Engineering to manage capital replacements and upgrades.
• Oversee electrical projects to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure the availability of critical spares to mitigate operational risks.
• Drive technical training programs for supervisory teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in an electrical fixed plant role.
• Proven expertise in PLC instrumentation and VSD fault finding.
• “A” Class Electrical Licence and High Voltage Switching certification.
• Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and electrical statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with SAP and instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.
