Your new role

Working on site within the project team, you will support the safe and effective delivery of electrical projects from execution through to handover and closeout. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising electrical works and project activities on site
• Managing contractors and ensuring work is completed safely and effectively
• Coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting electrical project delivery and associated project deliverables
• Providing strong safety leadership across site activities
• Marking up and redlining electrical drawings to as-built status
• Coordinating shutdown activities relating to electrical assets
• Supporting project handover, completion and closeout activities
• Ensuring relevant project documentation is accurately maintained
• Working collaboratively with site teams to achieve project requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated electrical project delivery experience
• Previous site supervision and contractor management experience
• Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications
• Strong safety leadership and a commitment to safe work practices
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a site-based environment
• Ability to mark up and redline drawings to as-built status
• Experience supporting project deliverables through to handover and closeout
• Experience coordinating shutdowns relating to electrical assets
• Previous site authorisation as an Electrical Supervisor would be highly regarded
• Previous site electrical authorisations would also be highly regarded
• SAP experience is advantageous but not essential

What you'll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to join our client on a site-based electrical project role within the Bowen Basin. The position offers a 4:3 or 5:2 roster, with work predominantly Monday to Thursday and some Friday or weekend requirements depending on project needs. DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane travel options, with flights and camp accommodation included. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to key electrical projects within a major mining operation.
