The Role
As the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineer, you will provide technical assistance across the design and delivery of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for major industrial and infrastructure projects.
Working closely with the Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure high-quality engineering outcomes from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control systems across water treatment plants
- Support the design, installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades
- Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions to minimise downtime
- Program and support PLC and SCADA systems
- Conduct inspections, testing and preventative maintenance
- Prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Work closely with operations, maintenance teams and contractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and safety regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve plant performance, reliability and efficiency
- Provide technical support across a range of water infrastructure projects
About You
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (essential)
- Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems and control philosophies
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is essential; hands-on programming experience is not required
- Experience within water, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
