The Role
As the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the installation, commissioning and delivery of all EI&C works across major water treatment and infrastructure projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, you'll ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of all Electrical, Instrumentation & Control equipment and systems.
- Lead and coordinate electrical trades, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within specification.
- Coordinate installation activities with project management, engineering and commissioning teams.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, project specifications and site safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks and resolve installation issues.
- Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and progress updates.
- Promote a strong safety culture and mentor site personnel.
About You
- Trade qualification in Electrical (essential)
- Previous experience supervising EI&C installation works on industrial or infrastructure projects
- Experience within water treatment, utilities, mining or heavy industrial environments will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Current Australian working rights
