Our client is a leading Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. We're looking for experienced 4x E&I Commissioning Technicians to join a major shutdown at BHP MAC this October.

With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.

• Dates: 27/10 - 31/10
• Location: BHP MAC
• $105/hr Dayshift | $115/hr Nightshift
• Super paid on all hours
• Travel provided

What will this position involve?
As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover.

Your duties will include:

• Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
• Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning
• Loop checking, calibration and field instrumentation verification
• Functional testing of motors, MCCs, switchgear, valves, PLCs and SCADA systems
• Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings

What do you need to be successful?
To be successful, you will have:

• Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
• Current LVR/CPR
• WA White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• BHP Inducted or willing to complete
• Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
