About the Company

Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering and automation specialist to recruit experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians for multiple FIFO projects across Western Australia. With a strong pipeline of work across major mining and industrial sites, these roles offer excellent hourly rates, paid travel, varied rosters and project durations of up to 6 months.

Our client is a leading Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.

About the Role

As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover. Perth FIFO 8:6 & 2:1 Rosters, 12 hour days. Salary: $90 - $105/hr + Super on All Site Hours (depending on experience) + Travel. Multiple project opportunities across WA up to 6 months. Your duties will include:

Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning
Loop checking, calibration and field instrumentation verification
Functional testing of motors, MCCs, switchgear, valves, PLCs and SCADA systems
Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings

What do you need to be successful? To be successful, you will have:

Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
Current LVR/CPR
WA White Card
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
