About Our Client

Our client is a leading global mining and resources company and Australias largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation in Australia, they operate multiple metallurgical coal mines across seven sites within the Bowen Basin. They are committed to safe operations, community engagement, and providing long-term local, DIDO, and FIFO employment opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing

This role requires proven experience operating large-scale dragline equipment, specifically a Marion 8050, within an open-cut coal mining environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Operating the Marion 8050 Dragline safely and efficiently
• Supporting production and overburden removal targets
• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting equipment issues
• Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance on site

What You Will Need

• Skills List, and competencies operating a Marion 8050 Dragline
• Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Updated Resume
